Statement of the Property Rights Tribunal Official Independent Observers

Turkey Tribunal publishes the list of confirmed OBSERVERS during the 2026 Session

The role of the observers is:

to observe the proceedings
to follow the rules of procedure
to check if all participants (rapporteurs, witnesses, government, third parties if any) can express themselves freely and are treated in a fair way.

If the observers notice something that is not going according to the principles and rules of procedure, they are expected to inform the registrar. Afterwards the registrar will immediately inform the president and, if needed, and instant consultation will be organized. The observers will be given the opportunity, not the obligation, to express their opinion on how the session went, in public. If the observers consent, the organizers want to videotape their opinion to publish it later on the website of the tribunal.
